Why do we live like we do?

We’re a small team—Keith, our dog Apollo, and me—living and working full-time from our self-built, off-grid, 16-foot off-road trailer. This lifestyle allows us to stay connected to the natural world, explore new places, and remain flexible in both our personal and professional lives.

Both of us work remotely, and I frequently travel for work, so building a mobile, sustainable home was a practical and intentional choice. We’ve met many people on the road who tell us they wish they’d started traveling sooner—a reminder we carry with us. Living this way isn’t about escape; it’s about designing a life rooted in curiosity, adaptability, and the freedom to grow while experiencing the richness of the world firsthand.
